Cards at the Diner 1/26/08
Went and played in the usual Monday night game over on Middlebranch in Canton, Oh tonight. This night was not a profitable night money wise, but it was still fun. At the diner they have unlimited rebuys for the first three blind levels. This is nice because it builds up a nice prize pool because the people play reckless knowing they can just buy back in. I was not getting very good cards and couldn't bluff the reckless players off of their hands so I ended up rebuying twice and still did not win any prize money back. I left there the earliest I ever have since I started going there to play so that was kind of disapointing. The players there are not very good so it is usually pretty easy to get in the money and win.

I was at the diner the other day and lost two ridiculous hands. I limped with pocket rockets only to be raised by K 10 of hearts. I played it right, re-raised, and then went all-in after the flop. Unfortunately I got sucked out when a second king hit the river. A few hands later I moved all-in with A Q agaisnt A 9 and pocket 8's. I flopped an ace but the donkey who called with A 9 hit a 9 on the turn. BAD!!
